At least two features of this book will strike any reader. First, it seeks to back every assertion it makes with evidence and documentation…. There is not a single instance in the book where the author can be accused of backsliding from a socialist position… To him, democracy is an integral part of socialism and can thrive only under socialism; and vice versa.
