Thirty years have rolled on after comrades Somu & Sembu are murdered by forces of casteist dominance. But Tamilnadu Unit of Students Federation of India has never forgotten them. They cannot forget them. The names of Somu & Sembu have become the icons and symbols of the deep and relentless consciousness of struggle of Students Federation of India (SFI). As part of this long struggle, SFI comrades of Thiagarajar College of Engineering were wagging an inspiring struggle before and after the martyrdom of Comrades Somu & Sembu are recollecting the events of their time tin the campus in this small book. It is their fervent hope that the students and the youth in the left movements of Tamilnadu will be benefited by their experience.Moreover they believe that the history unwritten so far needs to be documented and that will be a small dedication to the memories of their dear comrades Somu & Sembu
